Mark is an accounting and auditing member. He has the following responsibilities:
Experience and Technical Expertise
- Member in charge of the Firm's financial institutions client practice.
- Member with primary responsibility for SEC filings and regulatory reporting.
- Responsibility for engagements, including closely-held businesses, banks, governments, and non-profit organizations.
- Performs audit, accounting, and tax services for clients and is primarily responsible for supervising fieldwork, management consulting, and preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Mark started his public accounting career with the national accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand, LLP where he worked in both the audit and tax departments.
- Mark is a former adjunct professor of accounting at the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury State University.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Baltimore and his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Taxation from the same university. He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mark also serves as a Board Member of the Eastern Shore Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, Mid-Delmarva YMCA, and the Salisbury Wicomico Economic Development (SWED) group.
